01 — The typeface

Archivo Variable · wdth 62–125 · wght 300–700

The wordmark is a wide, geometric, low-contrast grotesque. Archivo carries a width axis, so it stretches to meet the logo at display sizes and relaxes to a normal width for reading. Never substitute a serif, a monospace, or a rounded font.

05 — Building the installable font

A real typeface is a drawing job — every glyph, spaced and kerned by hand. The outlines above are the starting material. Three routes, fastest first:
